GRAND HAVEN, Mich., Sept., 10 2008 – The engineering, design, sales and manufacturing support offered at Shape’s U.S. headquarters is now available in China.
Shape opened offices and a manufacturing facility in Kunshan, China, which is near Shanghai. Over 35 associates are working at the new facilities.
“We have a full sales team, product engineering, and program management. So the customer will experience the same high level of service from Shape and NetShape in China as they do in North America and Europe,” said Rand Stille, president of the facility, which is called Shape-NetShape China Auto Parts co. Ltd.
Production of the first parts began this month, and the grand opening is scheduled for Oct. 21.
