シェイプが初の技術展示会を開催

GRAND HAVEN, Mich., Sept. 11, 2008 – The latest in bumper, lighting, seating and food heating technology came together in one place.

On Sept. 10, 2008, the Shape Corp. family of companies held its first technology expo at the Shape Corp. Technical Center in Grand Haven, Mich. “Many customers were unaware of the variety of products that our family of companies produces,” said Gary Verplank, Shape Corp. co-founder and board chairman.

Associates were available to discuss the new technologies and products and answer questions. Attendees visited booths, watched bumpers undergo crash tests and toured the facilities.

Companies displaying products included Shape Corp., NetShape International, Pliant Plastics, Light Corp., Track Corp., Biosolutions and SafetyNet. Products ranged from truck boxes to thermoformed plastic energy absorbers to stadium seating. Mark Lackner, general manager of Biosolutions, said that the expo showed “the breadth of products we [the Shape family of companies] have from heavy-duty manufacturing to environmentally-friendly cleaning products.”
